I still have my voice but I have

Sorry that I disappointed
But no one comes with guarantees
Sometime's there's no winning anyway
And it's safer to appease

For all the bruises seen and unseen
Tattered wings and shattered dreams
Broken promises, unanswered prayers
It is later than it seems

Hell's a place that has no justice
And it's easy to get burned
Heaven waits for those who go there
Now I'm strong from what I've learned
